Women’s Cycling: Krista Doebel-Hickok News
Krista Doebel-Hickok, the 34-year-old American climber, will return to Human Powered Health in 2024, after leaving the team at the end of the 2021 season to join EF Education-TIBCO-SVB.
Doebel-Hickok is a valuable addition to Human Powered Health, having won two stages and the overall classification of the 2022 CIC-Tour Féminin International des Pyrénées, as well as finishing fourth in the 2022 Tour de Burgos and fourth and fifth in the Santos Tour Down Under in 2019 and 2023.
Doebel-Hickok is a two-time US national champion in the road race and time trial. She is also a two-time Olympian, having competed in the 2016 and 2020 Games.
Doebel-Hickok is known for her aggressive climbing style and her ability to perform well in high-altitude races. She is also a strong team player and a valuable asset to any team she is on.
Human Powered Health is a new team on the UCI Women’s WorldTour, but it has quickly become one of the most successful teams in the peloton. The team is led by former US national champion Rally Cycling Women, and it has a strong roster of riders from around the world.
Human Powered Health is aiming to be a top-five team in the UCI Women’s WorldTour in 2024, and Doebel-Hickok’s addition will bring the team closer to its goal.
