Early Career and Junior Success
Uijtdebroeks’s cycling journey began at the young age of 7 when he joined the local cycling club in his hometown of Borgloon, Belgium. He quickly showed a natural talent for the sport and began competing in regional races. His early success led him to join the Acrog-Balen BC Junior team in 2019, where he continued to excel, winning numerous races and earning recognition as a rising star in the Belgian cycling scene.
Dominance at the Junior Level
In 2021, Uijtdebroeks made his mark on the international stage, dominating the junior cycling ranks. He won several prestigious races, including the Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne Juniors, the Aubel-Thimister-Stavelot, and the Grand Prix West Bohemia. His crowning achievement that year was winning the Course de la Paix Juniors, a historic stage race held in the Czech Republic. His impressive performances caught the attention of WorldTour teams, and he was soon approached by Bora-Hansgrohe to join their development program.
