Vadim Pronskiy extends his contract with Astana Qazaqstan for 2024
Kazakh climber Vadim Pronskiy has extended his contract with Astana Qazaqstan for 2024. The 25-year-old turned professional with the team in 2020, and has been part of the structure for over four seasons.
Pronskiy’s 2023 season was interrupted by illness, which affected his training in the winter and spring. However, he had a much more successful end to the season, achieving a series of excellent results.
Astana Qazaqstan general manager Alexandre Vinokourov is confident in Pronskiy’s future: “Until this season, Vadim has shown good growth, both in terms of results and experience. This season, due to illness, his winter and spring training was blurred. However, he was able to overcome this and show his full potential at the end of the season. We are convinced that Vadim has a great future ahead of him, and we are happy to have him on our team for another year.”
Pronskiy himself is also optimistic about the future: “I am very happy to extend my contract with Astana Qazaqstan. I feel good in this team, and I have the best conditions to progress. I am confident that I can continue to improve and achieve even better results in the future.”
