Paracyclist John Terrell pulverizes UCI hour record!
American paracyclist John Terrell has broken the hour record in the C4 category. At the Bicentenario velodrome in Aguascalientes, Mexico, Terrell covered a distance of 47.904 kilometers, beating the previous record of 42.420 kilometers, set in January 2020 by Briton Wayne Harrod.

A statement from the International Cycling Union (UCI) relayed the American’s reaction after his record:
“I’m so happy to have broken the hour record. It’s a dream come true for me. I’ve been working hard for this for a long time, and it’s finally paid off. I’m also proud to have broken the record in the C4 category, which shows that paracyclists can achieve anything they set their minds to.”
Terrell’s performance is a remarkable achievement, and it is a testament to his hard work and dedication. It is also a positive inspiration for all paracyclists, showing that they can compete at the highest level and achieve their goals.
