The 2023 season was a resounding success for the American team, with several riders raising their arms in victory. In addition to the four aforementioned leaders — Pedersen, Skjelmose, Nys, and Ciccone — only Quinn Simmons achieved a success for the team, early in the season on a stage of the Tour de San Juan.

Mads Pedersen, winner of Stage 8 Tour de France in 2023, was present at all the major events of the season. He won a stage of the Tour of Italy and Tour de France, was on the podium of the Tour of Flanders, and finished fourth in Paris-Roubaix and at the World Championships in Glasgow.

The Lidl-Trek team has strengthened its squad for the 2024 season with the signings of several top riders, including Cees Bol, Florian Vermeersch, and Thomas Degenkolb. These riders will add depth and experience to the team, which will be hoping to challenge for the top honors in the major races.

The team’s management is confident that the new signings will help the team to achieve its goals in 2024. “We are very excited about the new riders and we believe that they will help us to take the next step as a team,” said team general manager Iwan Spekenbrink.

With a strong squad and a clear vision, the Lidl-Trek cycling team is well-positioned for success in 2024.
