Evenepoel favors Tour de France over Giro d’Italia

A little later, a Sporza journalist bumped into the Wolfpack’s star rider on a platform at Brussels Central Station, and here is what he briefly told him: “I had said that I would like to do the Giro d’Italia — Tour de France combination if the Tour route was disappointing, but I liked what I saw.”

This statement suggests that Evenepoel has chosen to ride the Tour de France in 2024, rather than the Giro d’Italia. This would be a major coup for the Tour organizers, as Evenepoel is one of the most exciting young riders in the world and is widely regarded as a future winner of the race.
